1、 Product parameters
1. Specification and size: Determine based on the size and type of the toy. For small toys such as fingertip tops and small building blocks, the hang tag specifications are usually 4cm × 6cm and 5cm × 7cm; for medium-sized toys such as plush toys (around 30cm) and remote-controlled cars, specifications of 6cm × 9cm and 7cm × 10cm are often used; Large toys such as children's slides, large dolls, etc. have larger tag sizes, usually 8cm × 12cm, 10cm × 15cm. In addition to the conventional rectangle, cartoon shapes can also be designed according to the theme of the toy, such as animal shapes, car shapes, etc., to enhance the association and attractiveness with the toy.
2. Material selection:
White cardboard: typically weighing between 200g-300g, with a firm and thick texture, high color reproduction in printing, suitable for printing colorful toy patterns and detailed information, and can effectively showcase the characteristics of toys.
Special paper: such as textured art paper, weighing mostly 180g-250g, with a unique texture, can add a touch of refinement and personality to high-end toy brands, enhancing the level of hang tags.
Environmentally friendly paper: made of recycled materials, the weight varies according to thickness, in line with current environmental protection concepts, suitable for toy brands that focus on green and healthy products, and convey the brand's sense of environmental responsibility.
3. Information content: including brand name logo、 Toy name (such as puzzle blocks, plush bears, remote-controlled airplanes, etc.), applicable age (such as 3 years old and above, 6-12 years old, etc.), material composition (such as fabric, plastic, wood, etc. and their respective proportions), safety certification (such as 3C certification, CE certification, etc.), instructions for use (such as assembly steps, operating methods, etc.), precautions (such as avoiding swallowing small parts, staying away from fire sources, etc.), maintenance methods, and price. Information layout should highlight key points, especially safety related content, to ensure that parents can quickly access key information.
4. Hanging rope/hole: The diameter of the hole is generally 3mm-5mm, and the position can be suitable at the top or side according to the shape of the hanging tag. The materials for hanging ropes include colored nylon ropes, polyester ropes, etc. The colors can be chosen to be lively and bright, which matches the playful style of the toy. The length is usually 8cm-15cm, making it convenient to firmly tie the hang tag to the toy and not easily fall off.
2、 Process Description
1. Printing process:
For toy tags with complex patterns and rich colors, four-color offset printing can accurately reproduce the colors, ensuring the delicacy of the patterns and suitable for mass production. Screen printing is suitable for tags that require highlighting certain colors or text, with strong ink adhesion and high color saturation, presenting a unique texture.
To increase the fun and appeal of the hang tag, the concave convex embossing process can be used to give the toy pattern or cartoon image a three-dimensional sense, allowing children to have a more intuitive feeling when touching it. The hot stamping process can also be used to create vibrant colors for the brand logo or key patterns, making them more eye-catching.
2. Cutting process: Use high-precision cutting machines for cutting to ensure accurate size of the hang tag and smooth edges without burrs. For cartoon shaped and other irregular hanging tags, CNC cutting technology is used to accurately cut various complex shapes, making each tag meet the design requirements and have vivid and cute shapes.
3. Film coating process: Environmentally friendly film can be selected, which is divided into bright film and matte film. Bright film can make the color of the hang tag brighter, improve the wear resistance and waterproofing of the surface, and extend the service life of the hang tag; Matte film gives people a soft texture, avoids reflection, makes the text and patterns on the hang tag easier to read, and also appears more upscale.
4. Drilling process: Use specialized drilling equipment to drill holes at predetermined positions, with uniform hole sizes and smooth edges, making it easy for hanging ropes to pass through. For thicker materials, secondary polishing will be carried out to ensure smooth holes and prevent scratching of toys or users.
5. Packaging process: Finished product tags are packed in transparent plastic bags according to the quantity (such as 100 or 300), and then placed in
cardboard boxes. Place bubble wrap or soft cotton pads inside the
cardboard box to prevent the hang tag from being deformed or damaged due to compression or collision during transportation, ensuring the integrity of the hang tag.
