1、 Product parameters
1. Material: We offer a variety of material options to meet the packaging needs of different products.
Paper: including whiteboard paper, kraft paper, copperplate paper, matte paper, etc. Whiteboard paper has good printing adaptability and stiffness, suitable for various general packaging; Kraft paper has a natural texture, is environmentally friendly, and has high strength. It is commonly used for packaging food, handicrafts, and other items; Copperplate paper and matte paper have smooth surfaces and bright printing colors, making them suitable for packaging products with high appearance requirements.
Plastic: including PET, PP, PVC, etc. PET material has high transparency, good toughness, and strong chemical resistance, and is commonly used in packaging for food, cosmetics, and other products; PP material is lightweight and has good temperature resistance, making it suitable for packaging products that require moisture resistance; PVC material has strong plasticity and can be made into various shapes, commonly used in gift packaging, etc.
Metal, such as tinplate, has good sealing and moisture resistance, and is commonly used in packaging for food, tea, etc., which can effectively extend the shelf life of products.
2. Size: It can be customized according to the specific needs of customers. The common size range is as follows (length x width x height):
Small packaging box: 5cm × 3cm × 2cm -15cm × 10cm × 8cm, suitable for small accessories, cosmetic samples, etc.
Medium sized packaging box: 16cm × 12cm × 10cm -30cm × 20cm × 15cm, suitable for various daily necessities, food, etc.
Large packaging box: 31cm × 21cm × 16cm and above, used for packaging large household appliances, gifts, etc.
3. Color: Supports customization of multiple colors, and can be accurately adjusted according to the color Card provided by the customer (such as PANTONE color card). The color ratio for CMYK four-color printing can also be specified by the customer to ensure that the color of the packaging box conforms to the customer's brand image and product positioning.
4. Thickness: The thickness of different materials varies.
Paper packaging box: The common thickness is between 0.1mm and 1mm, which can be selected according to the load-bearing and stiffness requirements of the packaging box.
Plastic packaging box: The thickness is generally between 0.2mm and 2mm, determined according to the protection requirements of the product and the strength requirements of the packaging.
Metal packaging box: The thickness of tinplate material is usually around 0.2mm to 0.3mm.
5. Load bearing: depends on the material, thickness, and structural design. Generally, the load-bearing capacity of small paper packaging boxes is between 0.5kg and 2kg, while that of medium-sized paper packaging boxes is between 2kg and 5kg. Plastic and metal packaging boxes have relatively high load-bearing capacity and can be tested and customized according to specific situations.
2、 Production process
1. Printing process
Offset printing: suitable for paper packaging boxes, with high printing accuracy, bright colors, and the ability to achieve complex pattern and text printing, suitable for large-scale production.
• gravure printing: stable printing quality, high color saturation, thick ink layer, good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, commonly used for printing packaging boxes made of plastic, metal and other materials.
Screen printing: can be printed on various materials, including curved surfaces, irregular surfaces, etc., with strong ink adhesion, suitable for printing simple patterns, text, and logos, and high flexibility.
Digital printing: No need for plate making, can quickly achieve small batch, personalized printing, high color reproduction, suitable for sample production and short plate printing.
2. Surface treatment process
• Film coating: divided into bright film and matte film, it can protect the printing surface, improve the glossiness or texture of the packaging box, enhance wear resistance and waterproofness.
Hot stamping/silver stamping: By heating, metal foil is hot stamped on the surface of the packaging box to create a magnificent metallic effect, enhancing the grade and texture of the product. It is commonly used in gift boxes and high-end product packaging boxes.
UV coating: Apply UV varnish on the printing surface, cure it through UV irradiation, and form a bright and hard coating with good wear resistance and chemical resistance, which can highlight the three-dimensional sense of patterns and text.
Concave convex embossing: Using molds to press uneven textures on the surface of packaging boxes, enhancing the three-dimensional and tactile feel of the packaging boxes, without the need for ink, environmentally friendly and beautiful.
• Die cutting: According to the design requirements, use a die cutting knife to cut the packaging box material into the desired shape, ensuring accurate size and smooth edges of the packaging box.
3. Molding process
Folding Forming: Suitable for paper packaging boxes, flat cardboard is made into three-dimensional packaging boxes through folding, bonding, and other methods. The process is simple, the cost is low, and it is suitable for large-scale production.
• Assembly molding: For packaging boxes with complex structures, such as sky and earth cover boxes, drawer boxes, etc., it is necessary to assemble and bond each component to ensure that the structure of the packaging box is firm and the appearance is beautiful.
Injection molding: used for plastic packaging boxes, where plastic raw materials are heated and melted before being injected into molds, cooled and molded to produce various complex shapes of packaging boxes with high precision and good consistency.
Stamping forming: mainly used for metal packaging boxes, stamping metal sheets into the desired shape through stamping molds, with high strength and sealing properties.
